Love at first sight!

When she first laid eyes on Angel, the runt of the shelter, Joanne had to have her. During her years volunteering at the Ontario SPCA, Joanne had seen a lot of dogs but none touched her the way Angel did. And although eight years of neglect had taken its toll, Angel still had a lot of love to give, and at 13 is still giving it.

With Angel constantly at her heels, Joanne takes time to fulfill her true passion, animal communication. And it's no doubt that her studies helped her connect with Angel and heal her pain. But what Joanne has finally figured out is that Angel really chose her.

Angel left us the summer of 2008. She is forever grateful to Joanne for giving her a home filled with love.

COMPATABILITY Joanne works half days. Due to her petite size Joanne prefers small to mid-size dogs or large dogs that do not pull.
