A helping hand

For this active couple, moving into semi-retirement was easy... but a full commitment just doesn't seem to suit their lifestyle. Eleanor continues to line the family nest egg as a Financial Advisor at a small Kleinburg company while Ian, a retired Corrections Officer, holds down the fort. In their spare time they volunteer at Pearson International Airport's Travellers Assistance Services which conveniently is minutes from their home. And for the past 12 years Eleanor has made time to volunteer at the local hospital.

Outdoorsy people, they enjoy long walks through Wildwood Park which runs along Mimico Creek. Until recently, they were always accompanied by their Golden Retriever, Jake. Though their faithful friend is irreplaceable they have decided to fill the gap by taking in furry guests from time to time. Helping those in need just seems to be in their nature.

COMPATABILITY Ian is home during the day. All breeds welcome.
