Farm girl!

Growing up on the farm in County Derry, Northern Ireland, Bridie enjoyed a lively childhood. Between chores and homework there was always time to play with the dogs although the Collie was more work than play. Afterall, herding pigs is serious business! So it was mostly up to the Saint Bernard to keep the children entertained.

Bridie left the farm and came to Canada where she worked for 35 years in a bakery. That's one way to satisfy your sweet tooth! And to satisfy the caregiver in her, Bridie spent another 21 years providing attendant home care to the physically disabled through an outreach program.

Today Bridie enjoys a quieter life which she shares with her long time friend, Sugar. Sugar is a serious downsize from the Saint Bernard of her youth but loyal companion and fantastic cuddler. Still the active farm girl, Bridie can be found at the gym most mornings or outdoors walking with Sugar.

COMPATABILITY Sugar enjoys the company of small to mid size dogs and large dogs that are very laid back.
