Meet Bau and Chloe, the inspiration for Nosy Barkers. These two spoiled, apricot poodles have never stayed in a kennel or at the Vet’s.

Every dog deserves to stay in a loving home when mom and dad are away. So I’ve opened my doors to make sure your best friend enjoys your vacation too!

When your dogs are a part of the family, a cold, sterile cage is the last place you’d want to leave them. But that can really put a cramp in your lifestyle if you’ve got the travelling bug. I can’t tell you how many holidays and weekends away I missed out on because of it. If I couldn’t leave Bau and Chloe with a friend or family member then I just wasn’t going anywhere.

Now I’m happy to offer my home so other dog lovers can leave their pets behind and actually feel good about it. Joining me in my crusade for guilt-free travel are several like-minded dog lovers across the GTA.

We hope you will visit us one day. But in the mean time please visit The Boutique where you’ll find great hand crafted and totally unique doggie gifts!

Happy Travels!

Today we brought home a beautiful apricot Standard Poodle puppy - a Valentines Day gift for the family. Tahja is 3 months old and so lovely. Much as we hoped, he and our son, Ryland have become fast friends.

Sadly, Bau left us today. At 16 years old he lived a long and happy life. He was much loved and will be well and long remembered.

It soon became apparent that Tahja would need a 4-legged buddy to ensure he gets all the exercise needed. Today we adopted Symbah, an 18 month old black Standard Poodle. Symbah has a very loving personality and likes to play hard – good thing! Chloe, a tad crotchety in her old age, is a strict enforcer of the "no playing in the house" rule... Standard Poodles at play are akin to a herd of rampaging horses.
